En el marco del Ciclo de Conferencias "Ser de izquierda en el siglo XXI" recibiremos en Uruguay al parlamentario alemán y vicepresidente de la bancada del SPD, Rolf Mützenich.
En el marco de su línea de trabajo sobre política internacional, la Fundación Friedrich Ebert continúa tendiendo puentes entre Uruguay y el mundo, con el objetivo de generar espacios para compartir experiencias y enriquecer los debates.
En esta oportunidad contaremos con la visita en Uruguay de Rolf Mützenich, parlamentario alemán y vicepresidente de la bancada del SPD, quien compartirá un encuentro enmarcado en el Ciclo de Conferencias "Ser de izquierda en el siglo XXI".
La actividad contará con la participación del presidente del Frente Amplio, Javier Miranda; la senadora y secretaria general del Partido Socialista, Mónica Xavier; y la senadora de Casa Grande, Constanza Moreira, quienes intercambiarán perspectivas bajo la consigna "Socialdemocracia: ¿Qué queda? Qué cambia? ¿Qué ofrece hoy?".
El encuentro, organizado en conjunto con la Fundación Líber Seregni y el Frente Amplio, se realizará el miércoles 9 de mayo a partir de las 19 horas en La Huella de Seregni.
La entrada es libre.
Desde 2002, el Dr. Rolf Mützenich es miembro del Parlamento alemán. Desde 2009 hasta diciembre de 2013 fue vocero para asuntos de política exterior del grupo parlamentario del SPD.
Ha negociado un acuerdo de paz con Irán, ha llevado a cabo tareas de política exterior en Turquía y se ha esforzado por el mantenimiento de la paz. Desde 2013 se desempeña como vicepresidente de la bancada del SPD. Se especializa en las áreas de Política Exterior, Defensa y Derechos Humanos.
