Invitamos hoy viernes 26 de abril al lanzamiento de la campaña libre de contenido falso y la firma del Pacto Ético entre partidos políticos. El evento será a las 19 horas en el Palacio Legislativo.
Las campañas de desinformación han sido protagonistas de los últimos procesos electorales, tanto en la región como en otras partes del mundo. La propagación de contenidos falsos, ya sea en forma de noticias o no, tiene un fuerte impacto en la población, los procesos deliberativos y la toma de decisión del electorado.
Por este motivo, en nuestro compromiso con la defensa de la democracia, decidimos respaldar desde el inicio la iniciativa de la Asociación de la Prensa Uruguaya por una campaña limpia de noticias falsas y la promoción de la firma de un pacto ético contra la desinformación entre los partidos políticos.
El lanzamiento de realizará hoy, viernes 26 de abril, a las 19 horas en el Salón de los Pasos Perdidos del Palacio Legislativo. La actividad será presentada por el contador Enrique Iglesias, quien involucró en el proceso al Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo y contará con la presencia del Presidente de la República, Tabaré Vázquez, los expresidentes José Mujica y Julio María Sanguinetti; así como con las y los principales líderes de todos los partidos políticos con representación parlamentaria.
