Transitamos un período histórico de múltiples y vertiginosos cambios donde las incertidumbres, más que las certezas, son la regla. La transnacionalización y concentración de la producción y la riqueza; la penetración del mercado en todas las esferas de la vida y la potencia del cambio tecnológico son fenómenos con fuerte impacto en la naturaleza del empleo, en las formas de organización de trabajadoras y trabajadores y, en particular, en las condiciones de participación en la vida social con igualdad de derechos para las mujeres. En el marco del Proyecto Sindicatos en Transformación de la Fundación Friedrich Ebert (FES) se presentan diversas experiencias de construcción colectiva de las organizaciones sindicales a nivel global. La reflexión sobre la experiencia del sindicalismo uruguayo que Achim Wachendorfer y Álvaro Padrón realizan en su análisis y la experiencia exitosa de lucha de las trabajadoras organizadas en la CUT de Brasil, a partir del trabajo de Didice Godinho (La construcción de poder sindical con paridad de género) dan el marco para profundizar sobre la desigualdad en la participación de las mujeres en la organización sindical.
El encuentro será este miércoles 14 de marzo a partir de las 19 horas en el local del PIT-CNT (Jackson 1283).
Se presentarán dos experiencias analizadas en el marco del Proyecto Sindicatos en Transformación de la FES.
